Common Apps used at SNBS
Seesaw
Seesaw is used as a platform for students and teachers to share work in the classroom. Parents can view this week through their own access and can interact with their kids on what has been uploaded.
Not all classes are using Seesaw but the school has a goal that by Term 4 all teachers are posting one piece of content a week. Three staff are Seesaw Ambassadors helping upskill other teachers in the use of Seesaw. Seesaw creates great talking points through the comments section. Some concerns from parents are that Seesaw can be addictive for children to want to look at content constantly, whilst other parents have commented they love the interaction that Seesaw provides.

Google Suite
Students in year levels 5 upwards are provided with a school monitored google account which provides them with access to create Documents, spreadsheets, Presentations, use email, Calendar and other extensions. Students can access their google account both at school and at home on other devices as it is all cloud based
AirPlay
AirPlay allows teachers in the classroom to project content from a laptop or MacBook to the large TVs in the classroom for collaborative learning, presentations and to share content. This is a useful tool that works quickly and efficiently in sharing to a wider group.
PicCollage
PicCollage is an iOS application used on iPads, predominantly in the junior school. Similar to a 1 page powerpoint, it allows children at a young age to create digital posters and bring information together in an artistic way with images, text and colours.
iMovie
From Year 3 up, children are beginning to create iMovies to share with the class bringing together their knowledge, speaking skills, presentation ability and working with others to share their learning.
