Father Son Camp – Teen Edition
Due to the success of our Father Son Camps for intermediate aged boys and their dads we are now offering it for teens! Father Son Camp – Teen Edition is an awesome weekend away for teenage guys and their dads (or fill in dad if dad isn’t around). The weekend is made up of various outdoor pursuits, lots of food, chill time and a few low key sessions to help you develop your relationship with your dad/son. Our previous Father Son Camps have always been great weekends away and filled up fast, this weekend promises to be the same.

Being a Pippin with Girl Guiding NZ is a very popular choice for 5 and 6 year old girls and it is great to be able to offer the opportunity to more girls to join our Rawhiti Pippin Unit – Thursdays 4.45-5.45pm at All Saints Church, 305 New Brighton Rd.
Guiding is about learning, developing self-confidence, making new friends and, of course, having lots of fun outside school!
Our programmes are provided in a fun, safe environment and girls get together each week with girls their own age to do lots of cool stuff like discovering nature, visiting interesting places, making crafts, playing games and more.

Drama Classes In South Brighton
Limited places are available in term two for drama classes at the South Brighton Canvas Bag Drama School.
Each drama lesson is based upon a story, folk tale or legend. The children then use their drama skills to retell the stories with their acting. The classes are designed to build confidence, and to develop the children’s imaginations through voice, movement, and music focusing on imaginative characteristion. Each child is given opportunity to speak lines and become their own unique characters. This then leads into the term four production where each child is given a part with speaking lines and a chance to perform.
Classes are held at St Lukes Church, 212 Pine Ave, South Brighton. Thursdays 3.30-4.30 for 5 to 7 year olds and 4.30-5.30 for 8 to 12 year olds.
Our tutor is a qualified drama teacher with over
twenty years of experience in teaching children in the performing arts.
