Basketball - Canterbury Basketball (Ty and Jemma) have started working with our Girls Got Game group. There is still room for some Yr 5 -8 girls who would like to have a go. This will run for the next 4 weeks on Mondays during school time.
Canterbury Basketball are thrilled to be bringing back GLOW for its second year! This is an exciting glow-in-the-dark 3x3 basketball event for girls aged 7-15, designed as a fun and inclusive participation experience.
Girls from all over Ōtautahi who have been part of the Girls Got Game program will be joining in—whether they’re beginners or developing players—to have fun, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a unique atmosphere.
What to Expect:
Glow-in-the-dark basketball (3x3 half-court games)
Music, prizes, and giveaways
A fun, supportive environment for all skill levels
While girls do not need to have participated in Girls Got Game to join, we see this as a fantastic way to bridge the program into more basketball opportunities. Let’s get more girls involved in this one-of-a-kind basketball experience!
