On Wednesday last week SNBS pupils went to the Canterbury heat of Kids’ Lit Quiz held at Cobham Intermediate.

In the words of the Quiz master Wayne Mills “we have got some really clever kids in here today” and 9 of them go to our school , South New Brighton School.

Niamh, Gus, Leah, Ella, Ruby, Theo, Braithan, Milly and Isla spent 3 hours answering 100 questions about books and literature .The questions were split into 10 catagories and included Books to Movies/castles/accidents/fish and a visual catagory on Characters from legends.

There were 64 teams from all around Canterbury and is the second biggest heat in the world.

After 3 hours of intense questioning we were placed 4th and 6th out of 64.

We really have got some clever kids here! Well done!
