ARANUI BIKE FIX-UP

Regular bike fixups are happening every Thursday 3-6pm at Breezes Rd Baptist Church, 153 Breezes Rd (Cnr of Wainoni and Breezes). We can help fix bikes for free. Donations of un-used bikes are welcome if they can be restored. Volunteers to help restore bikes are also welcome.

BBQ Thursday 11th March 5pm. Some extra kai available at this weeks fixup so it's a great chance to come along and see what we do and meet some of the team.

Christchurch Bike Library. Breezes Rd Baptist & Aranui Bike Fixup are now the owners of two large covered car trailers which are almost finished being restored and filled with 10 med-large size mountain bikes each and will be available for loan by schools & community groups, likely from May onwards, for a koha to help cover maintenance costs. Keep it in mind for planning your activities, but hoping it will make it super-easy to take extra high school kids or adults out for bike rides. More details to follow when we get a booking system organised.

Small kids bikes available - volunteers from Ilam Baptist helped restore around 40 kids bikes last Sunday suitable for 3-7 year olds (12-20" wheels). We gave away about half last Thursday so if you know of anyone in the community who would benefit, get along this Thursday and pick some up for free. Steven MuirAranui Bike Fixup Co-ordinator
