Sport in school - It is great to have Reuben McNabb from South Brighton Tennis Club working with our junior school. This was a great opportunity for students to have a go and hopefully some have gone down to the club for further lessons.

We also have Canterbury Hockey working with our senior students. We have some talented hockey players coming through.

Duathlon - Good luck to Tyler, Flyn, Harper and Rhys who will be competing in the Canterbury event on Monday.

Basketball - Our year 3/4 teams have had an awesome start to their season this term.

The Scorpions played Mairehau Mambas and won 8 - 2.

The Sharks played Waitakiri Bulls and won 8 - 4.

Thank you Ty Scott and Karla Leishman for coaching and supporting them.

Girls Got Game - Canterbury Basketball has an awesome opportunity for our girls who would like to either further develop their skills or have a go for the first time. Wednesday 3:15 - 4pm here at SNBS. This starts this week. No charge. If your child missed the info letter, please email me with their details and then come along today. (They also receive a free basketball).
