Pink Shirt Day
Next Friday 20 May we invite you to help transform our school into a sea of māwhero/pink to Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora - Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying! Our students are asked to wear something pink on this day and bring a gold coin donation.
By celebrating Pink Shirt Day we will be part of a powerful movement to spread aroha, be caring and end bullying.
Pink Shirt Day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness. It's about creating a community where all people feel safe, valued and respected, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or cultural background.
