This year we had four of our Year 5 & 6 students represent the school at the annual Ngā Mātāpuna o te Waihora Kahui Ako Speech Competition which was this year run and held at Southbridge School. Earlier in the year students in Years, 4-6 wrote and presented their speeches in class. The top three Year 5 and 6 students for boys and girls then went through to our school speech finals held at the end of August. After our school speech competition, the top three students were then notified and put through to the next round.
