Our teaching staff will be attending a Paid Union Meeting on Tuesday 28th February, so we request you pick up your child/ren at 1pm on this day please.
NZEI Te Riu Roa - New Zealand’s largest education union will be holding a round of joint paid union meetings (PUM) right across the country for all teachers covered by the Primary Teachers Collective Agreement.
The paid union meetings have been organised to minimise disruption to teaching and learning as much as possible. Our closest PUM is at West Melton Community Centre on Tuesday 28th February, starting at 2pm. To allow time for all of our staff to finish bus and road patrol duty and to get to West Melton before the meeting starts, we ask for your support in picking up your child/ren at 1pm please on this day. The buses will run early, leaving school at approximately 1.10pm, rather than the usual 3.10pm which means that all bus students should arrive home approximately 2 hours earlier than usual.
