If you went out under the big tree on Friday afternoon you were sure of a big surprise! For every bear, that ever there was, was gathered there for certain because it was the day Com 7 and Com 6 had their Teddy bears picnic!

The letter "Tt" was the focus letter for the week in Community 7. We celebrated our learning by having a Teddy Bear's Picnic on Friday. The picnic was actually at afternoon tea time and Community 7 had invited Community 6, Whaea T and a few others to join in.

The bears were very well behaved, they even got to come along to assembly in the morning. It was a fun day teaching the Teddy Bears to do the actions for the Teddy Bear Poem. The students in Community 7 thought it was the best day ever and wished they could have a Teddy Bear's Picnic every Friday.

At 3'oclock, "the mummy's and daddy's took them home to bed because they were tired little Teddy Bears."
