The local community show will be on Friday 14th February at the Southbridge Town Hall.

You may like to enter in some of the children and adult sections. Bring your entries along to the Town Hall on either Thursday 13th February, from 7-8pm, or Friday 14th February, 8:00-10:30am.

Our lovely local gardening ladies will be holding a session at school on Thursday afternoon with our Senior Roopu to make Sand Saucers with those children who would like to enter one in the show. If your child from Com 1 to 3 is interested, please send them to school with a small selection of any of the following plant material (the ladies will also bring a small supply if you do not have any).

Foliage - Ivy, geranium, camellia, angelica, conifer, magnolia, stellata or any small hard leaves that won't wilt.  

Small Flowers - French marigold, daisies, small rosebuds, hydrangeas, small succulents etc.

Some of the sections available to enter are:

· Floral art.

· Vegetables.

· Cooking.

· Art and craft.

Schedules are available from Southbridge and Leeston businesses.

All of our students are making special art work at school to enter in to the show too. So you may wish to attend the Show to view all the wonderful art and entries:

Doors open to the public from 2:00pm - 7:00pm, Admission: Adults $5.00 – Members & Children 12 & Under – Free

Afternoon Tea $5, available between 2:30-4:00pm

Official closing and presentation of Trophies & Garden Awards at 7:00pm
