Swimming at Southbridge

Nicole Thornton โ€” March 20, 2019

Southbridge School use the local community pool as their pool to teach aquatics during Term 1. We aim to teach swimming lessons everyday (where possible) in Weeks 1 - 6 during the summer term. Students are walked with their safety vests down to the community pool and take part in instructional lessons by our school staff. As this is a public council owned  pool life guards are required at all times while we are swimming. Due to health and safety regulations we also require a sufficient number of parent support both in and out of the pool. Our school swimming sports and junior swim demonstration are also held at the Southbridge Community Pool.
