After 20 years of swinging, sliding and running around the playground, it has finally been replaced.

Watching it go was such a bittersweet moment as the playground had journeyed through generations of students, parents, grandparents since the McNaughton Avenue site days.

Over the last couple weeks, it has been exciting to watch the children eagerly grip onto the wired fence as they watch the new equipment being put together each day. The big yellow slides seem to be a favourite for some of the year 2 students seen in the pictures. Students Dre and Claire said, “it’s been long since they played on a playground, and they can’t wait to go on the slides”. This junior school playground is for all the Year 1-3 students to enjoy, to build new memories and…. it even has an extra slide…

It is only days away from it being done and our Grand opening will be coming soon…
