Knitting is a life skill that once mastered, is not only a hobby but enables you  to make knitted clothing. On a Tuesday lunchtime we have a variety of college and junior students along with a teacher or two learning to either knit or crochet. One of our support teacher aides gives up her lunch hour every Tuesday to help out. Our aim is create at least two blankets to donate to Middlemore neonatal unit for babies in need. These will support new babies to go home wrapped a warm blanket for winter.
