This year we are introducing the “KNOWLEDGE ORGANISER”… this will be a 2 sided A4 sheet showing the most important knowledge for their Science topic. The organiser will also have relevant vocabulary, any maths information alongside the science facts. Most teams have decided to past these into a homework book that keeps them “safe and tidy” and allows the students to practice the facts/words etc as a homework tasks. 

The purpose of the knowledge organiser is to show clearly what pupils should learn within the topic. It will be used within the teaching programme and by students in their review at home/after buddy reading in the mornings. 

Parents will be able to see what the children are learning and will also be able to help them with their learning through asking a few questions about it.
