WINTER SPORTS ARE BACK!
Winter is not a season, It's a CELEBRATION!
Netball Girls kicked off our winter sports yesterday Wednesday 4th May, taking place at the Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre.
Over the Term 1 School Holidays, our students have been training really hard in preparation for their season this term :)
Southern Cross Campus (SCC) Premier Girls played against Tangaroa College. Awesome game from these two teams but it came down to who wanted it more and unfortunately our girls came down to a strong side from Tangaroa College 18:28.

A lot of excitement coming from our young girls. Great attitudes and time management which definitely showed in the way they played as a team, granting them with their first win of the season :)

SCC Year 9/10 vs Tangaroa College
Awesome effort from this bunch, took them a while to find their feet but played until the end. Showing great sportsmanship towards the opposition which they managed to come on top winning by 2 points.

A great start for our Year 9 girls, good to see where we are with our game plan so we can prepare for our next coming games. Always about learning and having fun for our Year 9 girls.
