We are beyond blessed to have the calibre of talented and professional music teachers working with our students.

Well done to Ms Heeney and her work with The SC Collective Band and Frida and Litia's duo. Both bands made it through to the final for the New Found Sound competition with Litia and Frida winning 1st place at regional finals!

Congrats to Petelo Saia who won the prestigious musicianship award at Tangata Beats Final. Petelo is an outstanding musician and will no doubt take the world by storm with his god given gift and talen. No doubt, he has a prosperous music career ahead of him!

Well done to our music teacher Junior Soqeta who had the amazing opportunity to perform alongside Coldplay in France recently what an amazing example to our students of an industry career on the world stage.

Lastly, a big shoutout to Junior Nansen and Thabani Gapara our music itinerant teachers for their awesome show with Stan Walker on Saturday night at the LAB show, was amazing to witness them in action and again a great example of successful industry careers. 

None of this is possible without great sacrifice so thank you SCC music teachers for your great service to our students and school.
