Congratulations to the following students Malia Moa(Head Girl), Jermel Roebeck (Y13) and John Ioane Jr (Prefect) who received a First Foundation scholarship at the presentation held Tuesday 2nd May.

The students are the recipients of the following scholarships:

• Malia Moa (Head Girl) : Sponsored by Cameron Partners and mentored by Kei Ball-Guymer
• Jermel Roebeck : Sponsored by Southern Cross Campus Foundation mentored by Audry McLaren
• John Ioane Jr : Sponsored by Martinus mentored by Sam Sefuiva

Congratulations also to three of our Alumni students who graduated from the First Foundation Scholarship program - 

Harvey Guloy (Dux 2019) - Bachelor of Commerce

Fiasili Matafeo (Head Girl 2019) - Bachelor of Engineering

Iliesa Kaifa (Class of 2019) - Bachelor of Architecture

First Foundation has been a great pillar for recipients of all their scholars. They have been able to remove barriers to give these students an opportunity to gain industry experience within their field of study, paid tertiary and mentors that guide them over the 4 years of when they receive their scholarship. First Foundation have planned to give 1000 scholarships next year to celebrate their 25th birthday, so next year should be exciting as we currently have students completing their applications for scholarships for next year.

To the village that have shaped these students to gain these opportunities we want to thank you for your endless support and efforts. The presentation evening was a full circle moment for our 2023 students who were receiving their scholarships as their 2019 peer supporters who were year 13 when they were year 9 were completing their scholarships.
