Years 1-8 Return to School - PARENT SURVEY EXTENDED

Southern Cross Campus —

We have extended the Years 1-8 Return to School Parent Survey to Wednesday 10th November, 3pm. We value your input and ask that ALL families take part in this survey to help with our planning for the potential return to school for primary schools. A huge thank you to our families who have completed this survey already. Please read the information below and complete the survey link at the bottom of this article.

Welcome families and a special warm greetings to you all...

The Government has indicated primary students may return to school in Mid November.

To support our planning we need an indication if you would send your children back to school. We need this information so we can plan on site learning in the safest way for children and their teachers.

This way social distancing, entry/exit procedures, ventilation, different break times and playground zones could be managed safely. We anticipate keeping children in specific locations/”bubbles” that limit any interaction between bubbles.

We have included below a possible timetable to show how year levels could be scheduled for on-site learning 2 days and distance learning 3 days within a week. Learning Times: 9am - 2pm

The survey deadline has been extended to close at 3pm - Wednesday 10th November 2021.

We will advise families of how the return to school would work for SCC Y1-8 as soon as we have completed our plan and have a confirmed start date from the Government.

Warm regards - “stay safe...take care”
