Attendance Codes for Absences – What is a justified absence and an unjustified absence?

The Ministry of Education attendance codes below are what is used at school. If your child is absent from school, then we will use one of these codes. You may see these codes in your weekly attendance report, which is emailed to registered caregivers/parents.
