Farewell to Christy

It was great to have our first assembly for the year, but sad that we were saying farewell to Christy as he heads back home to Malawi. Over the last two years, Christy has been part of our school as a Youth Worker. During his time at school, he would often be found talking and supporting students when they have felt challenged or upset. We have also enjoyed the lunchtime soccer and basketball games that Christy would get involved in benefiting from his calm and positive manner. 

It was also great to see our kapahaka group back performing and to top it off we all got a have a piece of cake - yum!
