Springston School, Te kura o Makonui is seeking a teacher aide to join our school.

This position will be for Terms 3/4 (22 July - 15 November 2024) on a part time basis, Monday - Thursday, 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM (16 hours per week - term time only).

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Experience in Teacher Aiding or in working with children in a group or school setting

• Positive behaviour management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a class environment

• Great sense of humour, and ability to roll with whatever happens

• Strong communication skills

• An empathetic, child-centred approach

  
  As you will be working in a School environment (as per the Education and Training Act 2020 and the Children’s Act 2014) a satisfactory safety check (including police vetting) is required. This must be maintained at all times during employment.
