ANZAC Service
Springston School students lay wreath at the local ANZAC service.
Bella, Becky and Freya, three of our year 8 students had the opportunity to lay a wreath at the local ANZAC service this year. The girls made the poppies for the wreath at the end of las term and they were then incorporated into a wreath. On Tuesday morning the trio arrived at the ANZAC service not quite sure what to expect. After the formal part of the service they joined other organisations and families that also had a wreath to lay at the cenotaph. It was great to see Springston School - Te Kura o Makonui represented at the local ANZAC service and hopefully it is something that we can regularly be a part of.
