Principal's Message
I am delighted to present myself as the Principal of Springston School.
Springston School is an exciting and vibrant place for children to do their learning. It is a friendly and positive school where we reap the benefits of our rural environment while still having a firm vision on attaining 21st Century skills and attributes. We encourage students to have a voice in the school and their own learning pathway and to develop independence quickly.
Our vision of 'Inspiring Excellence and Outstanding Character' is lived through our A+ characteristics and how we model our actions and behaviours throughout the school.
Springston School is a place where people are supportive and care for each other. We still deem ourselves small enough to be considered a ‘family’ school, where most people know each other and where there is a lot of mixing across the ages. We strive to meet our own goals, but also encourage others to meet theirs.
There is a wide range of opportunities, both within the curriculum and in extra-curricular capacities, which help us to grow well-rounded individuals through rich experiences. As an Enviro school we encourage our students to care for their place and the wider environment.
I enjoy being in a school with the Year 7 & 8 students. Their input through leadership opportunities is highly valued and much appreciated across the school.
We have a very skilled and dedicated team of teachers who are committed to improving learning outcomes for all our students and are wonderful models of life-long learning themselves.
You are most welcome to come and meet with me and visit Springston School, where members of our Ambassador Leadership Team will capably show you around.
