Year 7 and 8

Springston School —

Springston is a Year 0-8 Full Primary School and, as such, offers a complete package for children between preschool and high school.

Full Primary Schools are known for having a caring family environment that enhances personal development for all students. As students progress into the intermediate years at Springston they are supported by staff who know and understand them.

The Year 7 / 8 learning team provides an encouraging and challenging environment for our early adolescent students. Many opportunities are offered to develop their skills as learners and leaders within a familiar and supportive environment. When students work together and grow together, they understand the importance of kaitiakitangi - looking after 'our people' and 'our place'.

We encourage our students to strive to be the best they can be in any environment. To be proactive citizens who seek opportunities to make a difference and inspire others.  At Springston, we are proud of our students' achievements, the leadership they exhibit and their sense of Manaakitanga and Whanaungatanga for our younger pupils.
