New Livestreaming System for Church

Mark Chamberlain —

Braden Ramsell has overseen the installation of a new camera system that enables worship services, weddings and funerals to be filmed or livestreamed.

The system consists of three cameras and a mixing unit installed at the AV console at the back of the church. The video feeds from the three cameras can be mixed 'on the fly' and streamed to users using Zoom or YouTube. Parishioners not able to make it to church will be able to access this on their computers.

Weddings, funerals and baptisms can also be livestreamed for those not able to attend the service in person. This has become a significant issue during a time when international travel has been restricted. The parish welcomes enquiries from those who may find this service helpful.

Braden was very pleased with the way the installation took place. Redd Acoustics supplied and installed the hardware - thanks to Terry Molloy and his team.

If you would like to join a 9.30am Sunday morning service in this way simply go to the home page of the parish website and click on the link. The website can be accessed by clicking here. Make sure you establish the link at least 5 minutes before the service begins and phone Braden on 021 166 3386 if you need help.

The parish also offers an 8pm Night Prayer service on Zoom. The link for this service can also be found on the home page of the website.
