Men Invited to Pizza Night with stimulating 'after pizza speaker'
Diocesan Vice-Chancellor Alex Summerlee will speak about 'Future Challenges Facing the Diocese and Anglicanism.'
All men are invited to a Pizza Night on Thursday 22 July in the Tui Room at 6pm. The topic is “Future Challenges Facing the Diocese and Anglicanism” presented by guest speaker Alex Summerlee – Vice-Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese.
Alex has served as Vice-Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese since 2017, providing advice to Bishop Victoria and Bishop Peter. His home parish is Sumner-Redcliffs where he has been church warden.
Alex is a Senior Associate at a Christchurch law firm, specializing in litigation, and he has recently returned from a year studying at the University of Oxford where he completed a Masters qualification in Diplomatic Studies.
Through his involvement with the Anglican Church over the past 19 years, Alex has developed a number of insights and ideas about the challenges facing our Diocese. Come along and find out more – and bring your questions!
