The parish e-newsletter has proved to be a popular way of keeping people connected, offering spiritual resources and letting everyone know what's coming up.

The weekly email we call St Barnabas Connect has been going for just over a year now. This has been an invaluable way of keeping in touch with parishioners especially during lockdown. Thanks so much for the positive feedback we’ve received.

St Barnabas Connect goes out to 695 emails and about 60% of people receiving the email open it. That means that every week over 400 people read news from the parish, see events advertised and are resourced in faith. We also know that there are between 150 and 190 ‘clicks’ made in the email which shows that many people are taking a next step and following up on something they’ve read.

So if you read something that’s inspired you, why not forward it to a friend? This is a way we can grow our virtual community, keep connected and share the love of God.
