Talented and Committed Vestry Leads St Barnabas

Mark Chamberlain —

St Barnabas has a tremendous group of people serving on Vestry - the governing body of the parish - with a variety of gifts, talents and experiences.

Our Parish is blessed to have a talented and committed Vestry. They are the governors of our parish and meet monthly. Special areas of responsibility include finance, buildings, employment, health and safety, ministry oversight and carrying forward the mission of our parish - ’to follow Jesus and extend God’s love.’

Each Vestry member also has a particular portfolio that enables them to serve Christ in other ways and bring information and experience back to the monthly meeting. Vestry members belong to a range of our worshipping communities - 8am, 9.30am, Lifestreams, 5pm and Antioch.
