St Barnabas has purchased a large number of copies of 'It Begins in Bethlehem' for you to give to the children in your life this Christmas - please take a copy!

This year we have a special new Christmas story booklet to share, called “It begins in Bethlehem”. It’s a Nativity Rhyming book which gives a fresh perspective on the nativity with glorious rhymes from Bob Hartman and includes lively illustrations.

The Bible Society in NZ is making 75,000 copies of this booklet available around Aotearoa, in response to a NZ survey that said 1/3 of New Zealand children have never read, heard or seen the story of Jesus’ birth. St Barnabas donated $400 to Bible society to contribute to this wonderful project.

We want to share the good news of Jesus’ birth this Christmas and will be distributing copies to our children in Kidzone, Fridayzone, Messy Church, Playgroup and at our Christmas services.

Please take a copy and read the greatest story ever told to a child in your life at bedtime.
