Buy Your Tickets Soon for Garden Tour

Mark Chamberlain —

This major fundraiser for the parish is coming up on Saturday 20 November - tickets available soon!

Wondering what spectacular gardens are hidden behind those imposing gates or down those long drives? Here’s your invitation to see for yourself!

The owners of 10 beautiful properties are graciously opening their gates as a fundraiser for repairs to the St Barnabas Parish Hall – home to 40 community and church groups. Some of these gardens have never been open to the public before, so avoid disappointment and order your tickets now!

Information about the 'Beautiful Gardens of Fendalton' will be on the parish website soon. There will also be information on how to purchase tickets.

You may want to contribute to the Garden Tour. How can you do that? Well, first of all get excited about the tour and begin talking to your family members and friends. It's a great day out so get a group together and buy your tickets! The very best advertising is an enthusiastic church member!

Secondly you could donate ingredients for 'Lois' Famous Fudge'. Cakes and sweets will be sold and we need ingredients like Highlander condensed milk and brown sugar. If you don't have these, you could simply donate cash so they can be bought. Drop your donations in to the Parish Office.

Finally we need volunteers to monitor the flow of visitors into and out of each garden and to take responsibility for health and safety. If you can help for a few hours on the day, please contact Corinne Haines on 021 220 0039 or the Parish Office on 351 7064.
