Van Outing goes to Sumner
Sunshine, coffee, and ice-creams were enjoyed on our van trip to Sumner.
The Van Outing headed off to Sumner this week. The sun came out in the afternoon, and we enjoyed a cuppa at Scarborough Fare Café. It was lovely driving down Linwood Ave under the autumnal trees, with their orange, brown and red tones. The surf was high at Sumner and we watched a number of surfers braving the elements. The chatter was high at the café and in the van! A few ice creams were also enjoyed before we headed back to St Barnabas. It was a lovely day out.
There will not be a Van Outing in May so the next one will be on Wed 21st June.
We will be heading to the City Mission for afternoon tea at their café 'Thrive' followed by a tour by our City Missioner Corinne Haines.
The cost is $5 per person, please book at the parish office.
