Outstanding local violinist Rose Light and brilliant pianist Gabriel Baird will be performing at a concert at St Barnabas this Sunday 7 November.

All are welcome to hear Rose Light and Gabriel Baird performing recitals of beautiful Classical, Romantic and Baroque pieces on violin and piano at St Barnabas on Sunday 7 November from 3 - 4pm.

Rose Light is an exceptional young violinist who has been awarded her LMusA Diploma with Distinction and has won numerous competitions as a soloist and chamber musician in New Zealand and Australia including the Queensland International Chamber Music Competition.

Gabriel Baird is a brilliant pianist, composer and bassoon player studying at the University of Canterbury. In 2018 he was awarded his LTCL Piano Diploma with Distinction and in 2019 he was a Semi-finalist in the National Concerto Competition. Gabriel is also a conductor and was appointed as Musical Director of the Knox Singers in 2021.
