Garden Tour tickets on sale from Monday

Mark Chamberlain —

The 'Beautiful Gardens of Fendalton' Garden Tour will be a wonderful opportunity to view ten of the most inspiring gardens in Fendalton. It will be a fabulous day out with beautiful gardens, stalls and a raffle - a gala occasion!

Tickets will be on sale from Monday 11 October and will be $50. You will be able to purchase tickets in the following ways;

  • Go to the parish website and purchase them on line
  • Go into the parish officer - 8 Tui St and pay by cash or EFTPOS (the parish's new EFTPOS machine will be available from next Thursday)

Once you have bought your ticket you will need to bring proof of purchase with you to the parish office to pick up your physical ticket which doubles as a Tour Guide. You may do this during office hours (9am - 3pm Mon - Fri) or on the day of the tour.

Please note that on-line ticket sales are through Humanitix which is a New Zealand based charitable website where the profits support the educational needs of children in deprived areas.

Throughout the tour there will be a number of opportunities to purchase a variety of quality, home-made and specially selected items. Stalls will be at 16 Helmores Lane and 27 Glandovey Rd. There will also be a raffle at 14 Heathfield Avenue. Remember to bring cash!

The stall at 16 Helmores Lane, organised by Pam Chapman with assistance from Pamela O’Brien and Margaret Harper, will sell cakes, biscuits, sweets, produce, plants and other new, small saleable items provided by Parishioners. Perishable items will be received on Friday 19 November, but non-perishable items are now being accepted by ringing Margaret Harper on 027 2801002.
