Shirley-Anne Collins will be selling tickets after the 9.30am service on Sunday and you can pay by cash or EFTPOS. About 300 tickets have now been sold! This is a wonderful response! If you have bought your tickets on-line you can bring your proof of purchase with you and pick up your Tour Guide book - these will be available.

Spectacular Gardens

Wondering what spectacular gardens are hidden behind those imposing gates or down those long drives? Here’s your invitation to see for yourself.

The owners of 10 beautiful properties are graciously opening their gates as a fundraiser for repairs to the St Barnabas Parish Hall – home to 40 community and church groups.

The tour is on Saturday 20 November from 11am - 4pm.

How to Purchase Tickets

Tickets for the ‘Beautiful Gardens of Fendalton’ Garden Tour are now on sale for $50. These can be purchased in the following way;

Please note that if you purchase your ticket from the ticketing website you will need to print off your proof of purchase and bring it to the parish office and exchange it for your Tour Guide booklet. This will allow you entrance into the gardens of the tour.

Variety Stall

There will be a variety stall at 16 Helmores Lane. This stall, organised by Pam Chapman, with assistance from Margaret Harper and Christine Webster, will sell cakes, biscuits, sweets, produce, plants and other new, small saleable items provided by parishioners. Perishable items will be received on Friday 19 November, but non-perishable items are now being accepted by ringing Margaret Harper on 027 280 1002. Thank you for your contributions!

Things You Need to Know

  • Please park on the street and not in driveways.
  • There are no toilets available on the Garden Tour. However there are facilities at St Barnabas on 8 Tui St.
  • There will be a Variety Stall at 16 Helmores Lane, a raffle at 14 Heathfield Ave and other stalls at 27 Glandovey Road. Please bring cash - no EFTPOS.
  • No smoking and no pets.
  • No particular hazards have been identified but many of the gardens have steps and uneven paths so we ask that you take care.
  • The last entry into gardens will be 3.45pm
  • Under Alert Level 2 mask wearing is recommended, scan or sign in at each property, maintain 2m physical distancing and hand sanitise at stalls.
