New Baby Grand to Enhance Worship at St Barnabas
This week the parish received a gift from Helen and Peter Cordner of a baby grand piano for use in worship.
Parish organist Denis Guyan described the piano as a Haake Baby Grand probably made in Hanover about 100 years ago. It is made of rosewood and has been very well maintained with a 'sweet' tone.
We look forward to hearing this beautiful instrument being played at St Barnabas in the future - perhaps from this Sunday?
Special thanks to Corinne Haines who had loaned her upright piano to the parish for a number of years. We now return it to her.
