We have 8 adults who will be confirmed by Bishop Peter at this special service on St Barnabas Day.

What is Confirmation?

1) You have the opportunity to renew your commitment to Christ and the promises you made in baptism, or that were made on your behalf if you were baptised as an infant/child

2) The Bishop prays for you that you may be strengthened and anointed with the Holy Spirit for further service in God’s Church

3) You are making a commitment to serve God through the Anglican Church, which the Bishop represents at this service as a focus of unity with this Christchurch Diocese and also the whole Anglican Communion round the world.

We will link you with a sponsor/mentor who will stand with you at the service in support. Take another step on the journey of faith!
