Bedean Choir steals the show
The Bedean Choir competed in the Big Sing Competition, winning the hearts of the crowd.
On Friday, 9 June, our Bedean Choir competed in the Big Sing Competition at the Christchurch Town Hall. They performed three pieces – The Lord’s Prayer, Lunar Lullaby and There is Nothing Like a Dame.
They performed so well, and their final piece was an absolute crowd favourite with the boys given huge applause. A big thank you to their director, Mrs Helen Charlton, who put in endless hours behind the scenes and in extra rehearsals.
The camp that we held in Term 1 at Living Springs really helped the students to learn the material early on and then work more on the fine details in the last few weeks leading up to the event.
