There’s something new making a big impact in our dining hall - and it’s not just the food!

We’re proud to unveil a striking new wall installation that brings our "Men of" narrative to life in a bold and meaningful way. Stretching across the dining hall wall, this large-scale artwork celebrates the values that shape every Bedean: Men of Boarding, Sportsmanship, Heart, Faith & Leadership, Knowledge, Arts & Culture, and Fellowship.

This installation isn’t just decorative, it’s also a daily reminder of who we are and what we stand for. It speaks to the diversity and depth of our young men, and the many pathways they walk during their time at St Bede’s.

The response from students has been overwhelmingly positive. In fact, the best review we’ve had so far? “That’s actually really cool.” Coming from a teenager, we know that’s about as high as praise gets.

The piece has transformed the space, not only finishing off the dining hall in a visually powerful way, but also grounding it in meaning. It’s a celebration of our identity, our values, and the Bedean journey.
