Football Referee Courses

These Community Referee Course is free, so you need to get as many people on this as you can. Because it is free, we will be limiting the separate course we do at clubs, so the course dates on the web site are now the fixed dates for 2018. It is also important for us to recruit referees as well. Referees come from participants in the game and these participants belong to your clubs, so please push this for us as well? It doesn’t mean you need to lose anyone who takes up independent refereeing. We work that around their club playing or coaching schedule. It’s basically giving participants pathways in football.

Please direct anyone to this link to register for a course.

RUGBY

Committee meeting this Monday at 6.00pm in the College Staffroom.

The rugby Club is also holding a Golf tournament on Friday, 16 March for more information please email Paula Cameron p.cameron@redpaths.co.nz

BASKETBALL

“SOUTHFUELS” - A huge big thank you to “Southfuels” company who presented the Senior A Basketball team with a technology packet, which consisted of an ipad, cover, stand and headphones which their company kindly donated to the College. This is a promotion that Southfuels run where clients can nominate a school and someone out there kindly nominated St Bede's College. The Senior A Basketball team will use the ipad to take their game statics each game and it will also be used as a valuable coaching tool.

See photo attached below.

Thank you to the person that nominated St Bede's College and to southfuels every bit helps a fast growing sport like Baketball.

If you want to help the basketball club to continue to support the sport at St Bede’s please let us know and get involved.
