The Golden Catholics are delighted to be delivering their winter event on 11 August.

Golden Catholics is a unique event that brings together senior members of our diocese. We are often touched by the positive feedback received from this group, who are grateful to share worship, find out what’s happening within the diocese and catch up with old friends.

The Bishop’s Pastoral Team will host our 11 August event. Guest speakers will talk about our diocesan priority of Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. They will share something of the diocesan priorities linking with faith formation before Villa Maria’s Mercy Ambassadors tell of their faith journey. A young person shares a testimony, including their recent experience at Antioch, referencing the importance of faith to a young person’s life. As with the tradition of Golden Catholics, Mass will be celebrated, with a light lunch to follow
