We are conscious that parents and caregivers will not have had an opportunity to date to get formal feedback as to their son's progress this year.

By the end of this week you will receive your son's Learning to Learn report for Term one. 

Learning to Learn reports provide students and their whanau with a termly summary of holistic progress in each subject. Specific grades relating to assessment against the New Zealand Curriculum are reported monthly via the Student Record Sheets. Student Record Sheets will commence on Wednesday 1 April. 

For each subject, students will be marked against a four-point scale for the following skills:

• Attitude and effort toward learning
• Manages self to promote learning
• Demonstrates positive learning relationships
• Participates and contributes to in-class learning
• Is making expected progress
• Completes home based learning
