Year 10's take to Maori Carving in Cultural Studies

Mr George Berry —

As part of Year 10 Cultural Studies, the boys have had the amazing opportunity to make masks using traditional Maori carving techniques.

Each carving class begins with a Karakia, blessing and some reflective time. The students really look forward to their carving session each Friday, led by Matua Wiremu Gray. They're working hard to finish their pieces before the end of term and we can't wait to see them!
