Despite numerous date changes and setbacks due to COVID-19, we went ahead with our Variety Concert this week, opting to live-stream it on our Facebook page. We couldn't be happier with how it went, especially being able to give the students a chance to perform on stage again!

There's a number of people to thank for their support and dedication to making sure the concert went ahead, and of course, the technology was our friend as opposed to our foe!

Firstly - a massive thank you to our amazing Arts Faculty teachers. The hours behind the scenes that you put into making sure our students are ready to get on stage and perform is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Andrew Grant and Harrison Tyson, our sound and lighting technicians. Andy and Harrison both did a stellar job making sure the sound was not only right for those on stage, but for those listening on the live-stream at home. The amount of time they spent getting everything right is a testament to their dedication and work ethic. 

And finally, the students! Although it was strange performing to a camera as opposed to hundreds of people, everyone still delivered amazing acts, and it was great to see everyone back on stage enjoying themselves.
