Mr David Kobler from Choicez Media will present to both our Year 9s and our Year 10s. The topic he will be covering is "Navigating Pornography".

Next Tuesday, 22 November, Mr David Kobler from Choicez Media will present to both our Year 9s and our Year 10s.   The topic he will be covering is "Navigating Pornography".  We believe it is very important that the boys are given some clear information on this topic and its effects. The areas of focus will be:

•  Pressures and expectations that students are facing both on and offline
  
• The person behind the image (A deeper understanding of the human person beyond what can be seen in a picture)
  
• The science behind sexting (The effects personally, emotionally, and neurologically)
  
• How to act positively in a digital age
  
• Embracing the virtue of empathy
  

The Year 9 boys will have their presentation in the morning and the Year 10s in the afternoon. There is a small charge of $5 for this presentation. If there are any problems please contact me on rpitcaithly@stbedes.school.nz 

David will also be presenting an adapted version of this session to parents.  This presentation will be at Villa Maria College at 6.30 pm on Tuesday 22 November and is open to all parents of Year7-10 students. Gold coin donation on arrival.
