A swinging success!
Old Boys’ Annual Golf Tournament results for 2024
Held on Friday, 8 November at Waitikiri Golf Club, our Annual Golf Tournament was a resounding success. With perfect weather and a full course of 140 enthusiastic players, it was a fantastic day of camaraderie and competition.
This popular event is a highlight on the Old Boys’ calendar, and this year’s turnout once again proved its appeal. Players enjoyed the beautiful Waitikiri course, complemented by the ideal conditions for a day of golf.
A massive thank you goes out to our generous sponsors (listed below), whose support ensures this event continues to grow and thrive. We also extend our gratitude to our wonderful volunteers, Mark Connell, who doubled as our talented MC on the day, and Chris Bond for his expert BBQ skills that fueled everyone up. To Rod and the team at Waitikiri Golf Club, you're awesome! Special thank you also to our old boys who sponsored prizes for the day, Stephen Mackle, Jason Kilworth, Kevin Grant, Denis Gilmour, and Reilly Price. Finally, to O'Shea Public House who also donated a prize.
Thank you to everyone who joined us (see the full gallery of photos below!), and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s tournament for another memorable day of golf, fun, and connection!
Congratulations to this year’s winners! Your achievements on the course were impressive, and we hope you’ll return next year to defend your titles.
