PTA Update

On Wednesday night we held the PTA AGM and we would like to share with you some of the key highlights that were reported at this meeting.

On the PTA we have an amazing group of parents and teachers that play a vital role in supporting the school not only through fundraising activities, but also in the many school community events throughout the year.

HOW MUCH WAS RAISED IN 2019

• RAFFLE $9,600
• ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS $2,200
• ARTSHOW $9,900
• RACENIGHT $10,100
• MOVIE NIGHT $3,300

WHAT WE HAVE SPENT IT ON

• SPORTS DEPARTMENT $2,000
• CENTRE OF ENHANCEMENT $2,000
• LIBRARY $1,300
• BEDEAN COMMUNITY FUND $10,000
• PRIZE GIVING $2000

We also contribute to the new parents evening and other community events throughout the year. We have yet to allocate funds raised for the teachers “wish list”, which will be organised in the August meeting.

We are blessed to have a very supportive community at St Bede’s and we would like to thank you all for your support over the last year.
