The team went through the tournament winning all their games with a close match against Christchurch Boys’ High in the final. It was great game and it took St Bede’s a few quarters to pull away from CBHS winning 10 to 5.

A big thank you to Paddy and Sam O’Neil for giving up there time to coach the winning team. Congratulations to Angus Nevin who was the most improved player of the tournament and Conor Crosbie who was the most valuable player of the tournament.

St Bede’s College Junior B played really well during the weekend and improved with every game, being rewarded with a win over Shirley Boys’ High School and a narrow loss to Otago Boys’ High School by one goal. Water Polo has great support from the parents who were very vocal courtside during the weekend. Well done to Caleb Stewart and Sam Rochford for coaching this team. It is wonderful to see our senior players giving back to the sport and we all value your efforts. Don’t forget prize-giving this Sunday.

Thank you also must go to our parents who support their shop, as every time you buy a pair of shoes The Athlete's Foot kindly donate $15.00 from each pair to the College. This is a partnership that has been going on for over five years and we really do appreciate the support that Simon and The Athlete's Foot give to St Bede’s College and look forward to our parents continuing to support this generous offer.
