2017/18 News

Exciting news as students prepare for the new season. The St Bede’s Rowing Committee are pleased to announce the coaching staff for 2017.

New coaches are: 

• Head Coach: Ross Lindstrom, assisted George Key

Both Ross and George have impressive rowing and coaching credentials here and abroad. 

We also welcome back the excellent coaches from last season, Fiona McKay and Hayden Soper. Hayden and Fiona are already preparing the Rowers on Sundays at Stewarts Gully and at College.

This gives St Bede's an impressive coaching squad, coupled with enthusiastic athletes we will see St Bede's Rowing going from strength to strength in the upcoming seasons. Ross and his coaching staff are very enthusiastic about the future potential they see at St Bede's and all look forward to engaging with the St Bede's rowing community.

The coaching team lead by Ross have already begun to map out the season and the St Bede’s rowing committee are working to support our young men and the Coaches.

We welcome new rowers and here are some key dates for you and your son

Key Dates for new and returning rowers,

• 3rd August – Open day display at College for new and returning rowers.
  
• 6th August at 9 am – Open day at Stewarts Gully, for New and returning rowers, come and see what’s there and meet the people involved.
  
• 9th August – Parents and supporters meeting in the College Staffroom at 7pm. to meet the other parents and staff.
