Rockquest and the fundraising concert for Oliver Davidson

Regional finals of Rockquest tonight

We wish the Year 12 band Midnight Things (Jono Boyle, Cathal Dickson, Kalem Edlin and Matt McCarthy) all the best for Rockquest tonight. It is on at The Foundry from 7pm, entry is $10.

The performance of two Year 10 students – Sam Turner and Lachie Williams - in Rockquest several weeks ago can be viewed by going to YouTube and searching Blindsided The Hop. Sam is playing bass guitar and Lachie is on lead guitar in the band of five students.

Fundraising concert for Oliver Davidson

Last evening, old boy Oliver Davidson was joined by numerous talented friends who sang, danced and played various instruments in a varied programme of popular and classical music. Oliver is departing next week to compete in the World Championships of Performing Arts in California, USA, a competition in which another old boy Hayden Withers was very successful around 7 or 8 years ago. We wish Oliver all the best in his quest.
